ReadyVenue privacy

Last updated: 15 September 2026.

ReadyVenue is provided by Crafted by Fort. For privacy questions, contact gavin@gavinelliott.co.uk.

Records stored on your device

ReadyVenue stores your venue details, procedure answers, team names and roles, briefing records, practice records, actions and review dates on your device. These records are not sent to a ReadyVenue server. We cannot view or recover your local records remotely.

Optional iCloud backup

If you choose iCloud backup, the app stores a copy of your records in your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit service. Automatic backup is optional and runs while the app is active. This is backup and restore, not live collaboration between devices. Apple processes iCloud data under its own privacy terms.

Subscriptions

Apple processes payments. ReadyVenue reads Apple-verified subscription information to enable paid tools. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide app and sales information through its developer services under Apple’s privacy controls.

Exports and reminders

You choose when to create or share a PDF. Exports may contain personal information and sensitive venue details, so check their contents and recipients. Review notifications are scheduled locally and do not include team names or procedure details.

Analytics and advertising

The app has no advertising SDK or third-party analytics service. Optional diagnostics you choose to share through Apple are governed by Apple’s settings. The support website’s hosting provider may process technical request logs to deliver and protect the site.

When you contact us

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you send. We use it to respond and resolve your request, based on our legitimate interest in providing support. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for the request and applicable obligations. Please do not send sensitive venue plans unless needed to resolve an issue.

Your choices

You can disable automatic backup, control notification permission in device settings, and choose what you export. Removing the app removes its local app data but does not necessarily remove copies in iCloud, exported files or emails. Manage iCloud storage through Apple’s settings. Keep an export or verified backup before deleting data.

Your privacy rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold in support correspondence, or object to its use. We cannot access records held only on your device or in your private iCloud account. You can contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you have concerns.
