These Terms of Use govern your use of the Lowkey You mobile application and any related services, features and content provided by us. By accessing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About Lowkey You

Lowkey You is an app designed to help people reflect on how they communicate, how they come across and how different situations may be perceived by others. The app provides prompts, cards, tools and optional AI-assisted features intended for personal reflection and self-understanding.

Lowkey You does not provide professional advice of any kind.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lowkey You.

If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the app.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the app is lawful in your country of residence.

3. Account use

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your device and account secure
  • Any activity that occurs through your account
  • Ensuring that information you provide is accurate

You must not:

  • Share access to your account in a way that compromises security
  • Attempt to access features or data you are not authorised to use
  • Use the app in a way that interferes with other users or the service itself

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Lowkey You to:

  • Harass, threaten or harm others
  • Share content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or hateful
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or exploit the app or its systems
  • Misrepresent the app as providing professional, medical or therapeutic advice

We may suspend or terminate access if these rules are violated.

5. AI-assisted features

Some features in Lowkey You may use artificial intelligence to generate suggestions, reflections or wording.

You understand and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete or subjective
  • Outputs are for reflection and exploration only
  • You remain fully responsible for how you interpret and act on any output

AI features do not replace human judgement or professional advice.

6. Not professional advice

Lowkey You is not a medical, psychological, legal or therapeutic service.

Nothing in the app should be considered:

  • Medical advice
  • Mental health diagnosis or treatment
  • Legal guidance
  • A substitute for qualified professional support

If you are experiencing distress, anxiety or mental health concerns, you should seek support from a qualified professional or local support services.

7. Content and intellectual property

All content provided by Lowkey You, including text, prompts, card designs, visuals and branding, is owned by us or licensed to us.

You may:

  • Use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes within the app

You may not:

  • Copy, distribute or resell app content
  • Use the content to train other AI systems
  • Reproduce the app's mechanics, card systems or prompts without permission

8. User-generated content

If you create, save or input content in the app:

  • You retain ownership of your content
  • You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to operate the app

We do not claim ownership over your personal reflections, notes or inputs.

9. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us.

Our use of personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the app, you agree to how we collect and use information as described there.

10. Subscriptions and payments

If the app includes paid features or subscriptions:

  • Prices and billing terms will be clearly shown before purchase
  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with app store policies

We may change pricing or features in the future but will not apply changes retroactively without notice.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Lowkey You available and reliable but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may:

  • Update or change features
  • Add or remove content or packs
  • Pause or discontinue parts of the service

We are not liable for any loss caused by changes or downtime except where required by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses
  • We are not responsible for decisions you make based on app content
  • Use of the app is at your own risk

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

13. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are breached
  • The app is misused
  • We are required to do so by law

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that should reasonably continue.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
